Founded by Portuguese designer Pedro Passos da Silva in 2013, VAVA is an eyewear brand that stands out for its futuristic and innovative aesthetic, incorporating elements of techno and industrial culture.
This is a brand with a very strong identity, blending the conceptual language of technology with the artistic one. This unique combination has helped define VAVA's unique style in the world of eyewear.

Every pair of glasses reflects a conceptual approach to design, where functionality and visual clarity become inseparable from artistic expression.
The design of this brand is inspired by minimalism and Bauhaus, and because of this, its main goal is to eliminate the superfluous, ornamental elements and romanticism, returning to purer and simpler shapes such as squares, rectangles and triangles that are used as the basis for these eyewear's designs. The distinguishing feature of these glasses is the hinge: a super-lightweight aluminum cube inside which a cylinder rotates in an integrated mechanism.
The use of eco-friendly Mazzucchelli acetate—100% biodegradable and recyclable—along with high-quality Barberini mineral lenses reinforces a commitment to sustainability and excellence.
All these glasses are of high quality and ethically produced in Italy in a family-run business in the Treviso area. Eco-friendly Mazzuchelli acetate, which is 100% biodegradable and recyclable, is used for the frames. The lenses, on the other hand, are Barberini mineral flat lenses, 100% recyclable, made in Italy.
Choosing these glasses means choosing a unique, minimalist and conceptual brand that already lives in the future.
